Silent Country Choir

Before the Saturday night competition, the traditional Silent Country Choir will be here again this year! 🤠🎶
Let’s “sing” the great country anthem, Take Me Home, Country Roads together – with signs, smiles and a really loud volume. The lines of the song come to life in the audience when everyone raises their own part – the sight is guaranteed, and the atmosphere is even more so. It’s worth singing, even recommended… the music will be pretty loud anyway!

Hermes House Band – Country Roads

Are you ready, to party?

Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, growing like a breeze

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, Mountain Mama
Take me home, country roads

All my memories gather ’round her
Miner’s lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, Mountain Mama
Take me home, country roads

I hear her voice, in the morning hour she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
And drivin’ down the road, I get a feelin’
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, Mountain Mama
Take me home, country roads

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, Mountain Mama
Take me home, country roads

Lalala hey hey lalala hey hey lalala hey hey lalala
West Virginia, Mountain Mama
Take me home, country roads
Lalala hey hey lalala hey hey lalala hey hey lalala
West Virginia, Mountain Mama
Take me home, country roads

Take me home, country roads
Take me home, country roads
